Daisy Winters With Brooke Shields: New Film About the Meaning of Life

Brooke Shields, Carrie Preston, Sterling Jerins and Game of Thrones star Iwan Rheon lead a powerhouse cast in this poignant and touching drama about love, death and the meaning of life.

Daisy Winters is a new film about an 11-year-old girl’s unconventional, yet deeply loving relationship with her mother and what happens when this essential mother/daughter bond is harshly broken.
The powerful movie drama deals with the girl’s struggle with her mother’s impending death and the lessons to be learned from life’s bittersweet and sometimes ironic twists of fate. Along her journey, including her quest to discover her father, the courageous, resourceful and precocious Daisy learns about how to embrace every moment with determination and an unrelenting belief in herself.
Brooke Shields, Carrie Preston, Sterling Jerins and Game of Thrones star Iwan Rheon star in this movie drama about love, death and the meaning of life. The new film with Brooke Shields is particularly poignant because it honors the late director Beth LaMure, who died last year shortly before the film’s completion.
Daisy Force Pictures and Me Jane Productions completed principal photography on Daisy Winters late last year, with filming primarily in Savannah, Georgia. The new film by Hannover House will premier on Oct. 5 at Regal E-Walk theater in New York City. The national release on Oct. 6, 2017, will launch at approximately 100 locations.
