Venice Movie Stars Lounge Video: Highlights From the 74th Venice International Film Festival

The Venice Movie Stars Lounge has been a hub of activity during the 74th Venice International Film Festival, showcasing some of the world’s best film-making through September 9, 2017.

One highlight in the lounge included the director Andrew Haigh with his cast of Lean On Pete composed by Chloë Sevigny and the young actor Charlie Plummer. Lean On Pete tells the adventures of the young Charley Thompson, who was abandoned by his mother when he was a baby. The story follows Charlie and his racehorse during their journey in search of his aunt and a new house. Among the others who took part in the interviews were the director Paul Schrader, the actress and producer Victoria Hill and the actors Ethan Hawke and Amanda Seyfried.

The film Diva! is another featured movie at the 74th Venice International Film Festival. The Venice Movie Stars Lounge welcomed the actress Barbara Bobulova, Anita Caprioli, Silvia d’Amico, Isabella Ferrari, Anna Foglietta, Carlotta Natoli, Greta Scarano, the actor Michele Riondino and the director Francesco Patierno. The movie plot of Diva! narrates the life of Valentina Cortese interpreting her own words of her biography “how many past yesterdays do we have,” published on the occasion of her 90th birthday.
