Listen to “Don’t Let Me Go”
Drivers attending these shows will be the first to listen live to the band’s latest single “Don’t Let Me Go,” now available worldwide and being shared among fans with the hashtag #DLMG. The single can be previewed at https://TolboothRecords.lnk.to/DLMG16PR. It follows the success of “Rain Don’t Come,” which Kendall and Dustin released earlier this year and played for viewers internationally on the iHeartRadio / What’s Trending / American Red Cross #Tubeathon this past April.
Soon, Drivers will also be able to view a special in-studio performance of “Rain Don’t Come” via Virgin Produced Channels on-board Virgin America and Virgin Australia flights as well as at Virgin Hotels starting August 2016.
Met on HEFFRON DRIVE
Heffron Drive was formed in Burbank, California, in 2008 by Kendall Schmidt and Dustin Belt. Originally from Wichita, Kansas, the duo met on the street “Heffron Drive,” where they quickly became friends and began making music together. Shortly after creating the band, Kendall booked the Nickelodeon/Columbia Records television show BIG TIME RUSH (BTR) as one of the four leading members, and Dustin became the touring guitarist for the band.
The two spent nearly 5 years on the road with BTR, which is currently on indefinite hiatus, leading to the revival of Heffron Drive. Both Kendall and Dustin are excited about their upcoming projects and look forward to spreading their music across the world.
In the past year, Heffron Drive made sure to keep in touch with their international fan base, performing sold- out shows in countries including Italy, Mexico, Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil. Heffron Drive also broke new ground with a worldwide streaming concert event Live from Montevideo, so that fans in every corner of the globe could watch the concert from their own homes.
