Is the area around city hall in your city a vacant, drab and unwelcoming area? Are you searching for a simple way to enliven this space and provide an outdoor stage for talented performers? Would you like to discover an easy way to attract visitors to this central location?
Here is a model program from Creative Philadelphia.
New Performance Series in City Hall Courtyard
Culture in the Courtyard, a free outdoor performance series at noon every Wednesday, offers an exciting way for visitors, colleagues and friends to enjoy their lunch hour. By featuring dancers and other performers at City Hall, Philadelphia is conveying a clear message about the value of culture in our lives. Kudos to the Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy for taking art to the people, one of Artsphoria’s longtime visions for making culture more affordable and accessible.
